Comic Review: Hit-Girl #1
Writer:

Artist:

Review:
I’ve waiting for so long for this Comic. Hit-Girl was easily the best character in Kick-Ass. Though, she doesn’t play a major role in Kick-Ass 2 she is an awesome character nonetheless. The events in this comic takes place between Kick-Ass and Kick-Ass 2.
Here we meet Ralphie, Red Mist’s Uncle who runs his gang from his jail cell. Also we see Red Mis plotting his revenge. He want sto avenge the death of his father. Hit Girl is still her foul mouthed self. She misses her father. But now she lives with her mother and her new husband. The husband is the police officer, who knows about his daughter secret while her mother doesn’t. Her mother thinks that she is an innocent child. But we all know she isn’t. We see that she is being bullied in school by the other irls. So she makes a deal with Kick-Ass, that she will teach him crime fighting if he teaches her to be normal.
All in all I though that this was an good first issue. It has a nice start. The dialogues are nice and the artist has done a great job in recreating the faces of Hit-Girl and Kickass. I hope it gets better with the next issue
Final Verdict:
7/10
